Gerry and Larry... Tree-Top Baking
- Classic Carrot Cake: This is the most-requested scratch-made cake we bake --- a heavy (two-pound) single layer made with fresh carrots, crushed pineapple and California raisins. It's topped with our cream-cheese icing and decorated with colorful buttercream carrots.
- Portuguese Sweet Bread:This year we introduced this loaf Gerry featured regularly at his California bakery. It's also known known as Hawaiian Sweet Bread. A tight-crumb sweet bread great for tea and with coffee --- makes wonderful toast.

Shirlee Read... The Kitchen Door
Pears take the forefront this week at the booth, Pie for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Try the Pear Ginger or the Pear Raspberry--different and delicious! You will also find Pumpkin pies on the table this week in anticipation of Thanksgiving, as well as a few 3" Pecan Tarts. The specialty Quiche of the Week is Potato/Cheddar/Onion--a hearty pie perfect for the colder Fall weather. Of course, the usual fruit pies will abound along with the frozen entree pies found in the cooler--Down Home Chicken (pictured) or Classic Meat. All pies made from scratch by pie-maker, Shirlee Read.
