Brigit Drake... Mormor's Danish Aebleskiver
Mormor means mom's, mom or grandma, and aebleskiver is a favorite food of Danes whether it be for breakfast, and afternoon snack or something to go with your evening coffee. Remember Danes sometimes eat 5 meals a day.

Gerry and Larry...Tree-Top Baking
It's Father's Day weekend and we've got a special cake for your favorite dad or granddad....it's a moist two-layer yellow cake with chocolate buttercream and topped with toffee candy....ummm...what a delicious treat! And this weekend we also bring back an old favorite --- Walnut-Raisin Wheat....a scrumptious bread that pairs wonderfully with fresh goat cheese from fellow vendor Vicky Brown of Little Brown Farm. Stop by for a sample this week.
Georgie Smith... Willowood Farm
"The crops are coming! The crops are coming! New crops are coming on as fast as we can harvest them here at Willowood Farm! Coming this week to Bayview Farmer's Market...freshly harvested true new potatoes (little spuds of heaven!), gorgeous bundles of baby pac choi, fresh and juicy green garlic, garlic scapes, raab bunches, Japanese turnips, mesclun mix, head lettuce, Walla Walla salad onions and maybe a few more surprises depending on what the weather brings! See you at market!"
Dads and Grads time means lots of family get-togethers so consider taking the stress off by serving a pie from the booth, Pie for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Fruit pies of many persuasions, several offerings of quiche and a couple of frozen entrée pie choices should fit any occasion. All pies are made by hand and from scratch by Shirlee Read, pie maker at the Bayview Farmers' Market for going on 10 years. Pre-orders recommended. 360-730-2322 or slread@whidbey.com
Meredith MacLeod... Stubborn Twig Design
If you haven't gotten your Fathers day card or need a graduation card stop by Stubborn Twig Design this weekend! See you at the market.
Pam Mitchell... Pam's Place Produce
Here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming out of the garden soon: Romanesco, Cheddar and Purple Cauliflower, Creamy Fingerling Potatoes, Golden Beets and Radishes, and Sweet Red Strawberries! Make sure you’re there when the bell rings at 10 o’clock to get the best selection.
Plant starts are still at the stall, and it’s not too late to plant for a mid-summer harvest.
See you at the market!
