It's Father's Day weekend and we've got a special cake for your favorite dad or granddad....it's a moist two-layer yellow cake with chocolate buttercream and topped with toffee candy....ummm...what a delicious treat!  And this weekend we also bring back an old favorite ---  Walnut-Raisin Wheat....a scrumptious bread that pairs wonderfully with fresh goat cheese from fellow vendor Vicky Brown of Little Brown Farm. Stop by for a sample this week.

"The crops are coming! The crops are coming! New crops are coming on as fast as we can harvest them here at Willowood Farm! Coming this week to Bayview Farmer's Market...freshly harvested true new potatoes (little spuds of heaven!), gorgeous bundles of baby pac choi, fresh and juicy green garlic, garlic scapes, raab bunches, Japanese turnips, mesclun mix, head lettuce, Walla Walla salad onions and maybe a few more surprises depending on what the weather brings! Dads and Grads time means lots of family get-togethers so consider taking the stress off by serving a pie from the booth, Pie for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Fruit pies of many persuasions, several offerings of quiche and a couple of frozen entrée pie choices should fit any occasion.
